Each of the 3 schools is a small village school located in a village on the Shotley Peninsula.

The schools rely heavily on our fund raising efforts.
These subsidize
events               such as field trips;
projects             such as visiting artists, poets or scientists to work with the children; 
travel                 to museums theatres and local historic sites;
equipment         for indoor and outdoor play or sports;
facilities             not provided by the LEA.

The Run allows us to support our excellent schools, gives us an opportunity for charity sponsorship and provides a local amenity in a stunning setting.
